More than two million people have so far applied for tickets for next month’s iTunes Festival in London, Apple has announced. “We’ve already had over 2 million tickets applied for, at an average of 100,000 every day,” says Oliver Schusser, senior director of iTunes Europe. Only 60,000 tickets will be available for the 31-night gigfest, which will take place at the Roundhouse venue in Camden. Apple says that so far, the gigs from Scissor Sisters, Ellie Goulding and Faithless are proving the most popular among applicants.
