Streaming music service Spotify just leaped onto its third platform: the TV. The service has launched its app for 120,000 of TeliaSonera’s digital TV customers in Sweden and Finland. The app can only be used by people who’ve subscribed to the Spotify Premium service – a similar requirement to that of the service’s mobile applications. Those who have will be able to access Spotify playlists on their TV, using the remote control to navigate around. “Introducing Spotify into the living room is a major step forward in our continued efforts to make Spotify available wherever you are,” says CEO Daniel Ek.
