In a survey of 4,000 people who have ‘Liked’ the top 20 brands on Facebook, asking them how much they spend a year on those brands’ products and services. It turns out they spend an average of $136.38 a year on them – $71.84 more than people who haven’t Liked those brands. Syncapse also studied metrics like Loyalty, propensity to recommend, brand affinity, media value and acquisition cost. Believe it or not, fans are more valuable to brands (and bands) than non-fans on all counts.
