Kim Yeo-hee is about to find out: she’s just signed a record deal with South Korean label Dreamhigh-Ent. Kim – known as Applegirl002 – came to fame through her YouTube videos, which have notched up more than 4.2 million views so far. “These days you should sell yourself. I wanted people to watch and evaluate my performances,” she tells the Wall Street Journal. However, news that she’s getting some “professionally made videos” for her debut album raises the prospect that she may lose what people liked about her in the first place.
