Disney trio the Jonas Brothers have had digitally savvy people around them from early in their career – witness their use of Ustream to run live videocasts for their fans. Now they’ve signed a deal with AOL to launch a new video site called Cambio. It’ll serve as the new way for the band to engage directly with their fans, while also plugging other artists signed to their production company, Jonas Group – Demi Lovato and Jordin Sparks. The channel will also offer TV-like shows, including Ghost Hunting With Frankie Jonas. He’s the Jonas Brothers’ younger brother, if you’re wondering. AOL claims advertiser interest has been so high, the channel will be profitable from day one. Source: PaidContent
