Microsoft first announced its Project Natal motion-sensing technology last year: it’ll use cameras to let people play Xbox 360 games without needing any controller. Think air guitar (or indeed, air steering wheel). Anyway, on the eve of this week’s E3 show, it’s been renamed as Kinect for its launch, which is slated for this November. Pricing hasn’t been announced, but may come tonight at Microsoft’s official E3 press conference. The technology could spark a new wave of music games, with dance titles likely to come to the fore.
