MySpace plans to make a big splash with its relaunch later this year, including spending big on a consumer marketing campaign around it. That may include TV spots as well as online ads, according to Advertising Age, which says MySpace has put out a request for proposals to creative agencies for the campaign. It also points out that MySpace hasn’t done much consumer marketing before, spending only $5.1 million last year around the launch of MySpace Music.
