Analysts are getting very excited about the impact iPhone 4 will have on Apple’s overall iPhone user base. Morgan Stanley’s Katy Huberty is the latest to come out with a prediction, claiming that around 50% of existing iPhone owners will upgrade to the new device, which could help Apple sell between 42 and 48 million iPhones this year. She also predicts that by the end of 2011, the iPhone install base will have risen to 100 million. Which doesn’t include the iPod touch and iPad. Source: Fortune
