Multi-room hi-fi firm Sonos has been quietly building a strong customer base of audiophiles, while striking deals with online music services. Now the company has announced an iPad app, which lets people control their Sonos hi-fi while accessing their iTunes library or internet radio stations. The app won’t be released until August, but is already getting appreciative oohs and aahs from tech blogs.
