The latest bulletin from Apple on its iPad sales reveals that the company has now sold three million of its tablets in 80 days. It passed the two million milestone on 31 May, so it’s certainly shifting units at a fast rate. The company has also updated its official stat for the number of native iPad apps available on its App STore: there are now more than 11,000, up from 5,000 a couple of weeks ago. The device goes on sale in nine more countries next month.
