Ticketing firm Ticketfly has acquired Gigbot, a startup that provides online ticketing and social marketing services for venues and concert promoters. The crux of the deal appears to be the Gigbot Pro service, which lets these companies create webpages for events and pull in content from YouTube and artist sites; publicise shows on Twitter and Facebook; use ads and track customer behaviour; and let fans discuss gigs and see which shows their friends are going to.
