UK firm Global Radio, which runs stations including Heart, Galaxy and Classic FM, has signed a deal with mobile advertising provider 4th Screen Advertising. That means Global Radio’s iPhone apps will now include richer mobile adds, including pre-roll audio and sponsorships, targeted by listeners’ age, region and music tastes. Global says it also plans to launch apps for its stations on other smartphones, including BlackBerry, Android and Nokia devices, along with the iPad.
