The tech sites are buzzing with the news that online video portal Hulu may launch its premium service next week, under the brand Hulu Plus. However, All Things Digital suggests it will only be a beta test, that may be limited to 10,000 people. Users are likely to pay $9.95 a month to access more TV shows on the service (which also offers music videos), as well as getting mobile access. A separate report on Bloomberg suggests that Hulu Plus may also be made available through Sony’s PlayStation 3 games console, with that partnership also being announced next week.
