Tech blog Mashable has the scoop on Vevo’s plans to go mobile, revealing that the music videos portal will launch an iPhone app in July. CEO Rio Caraeff showed off the app, which includes a Carousel to cycle through popular videos on the service, a featured artists section, and geolocation features to identify local artists who users may like. The app is also being developed for Android handsets and Apple’s iPad.
