Amazon’s Kindle e-reader can’t do video yet, but the spin-off Kindle apps for iPhone and iPad can. Amazon has just launched a series of e-books with embedded audio and video, which can only be used within those apps, rather than on the parent device. The first books to take advantage include Best of the Beatles for Acoustic Guitar, showing how music-related e-books will be one of the selling points for the new feature.
