Analytics firm Famecount has published a chart of artists with the fastest growing social media fanbases. It’s based on fan growth on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube (poor MySpace!), and sees Lady Gaga top the list, followed by Justin Bieber, Eminem, Taylor Swift and Shakira. It’s interesting to see how the ratios vary. Lady Gaga has 1.46 million Facebook fans and just over 0.48 million Twitter followers. However, Justin Bieber’s ratio is higher with 1.22 million Facebook friends and 0.6 million Twitter followers, while Shakira boasts 0.5 million and 0.36 million respectively. Source: Brand-M
