Pandora CTO Tom Conrad famously said “I need Android like I need the hole in the head” a couple of years ago, but now he says that Android usage of Pandora has passed BlackBerry, and is on the way to rivalling the iPhone. The comments came in a talk at Digg, which is available online. Conrad also said that Pandora’s mobile users listen to 13 hours of music a month on average, in shorter bursts than the 17 hours a month spent by web users.
