Pandora updated its iPhone app for last week’s iOS 4 launch, letting people listen to their stations in the background while doing other stuff. But what about Spotify? European iPhone owners hot for multi-tasking music have been left wondering why it’s lagging. However, the company has just provided an answer in a blog post – an update has been submitted to Apple for review, and “to make up for the extra little wait time we’ve added a nice little surprise to make Spotify mobile even more exciting for you”.
