Gigya has released stats on which social network identities are being used to sign into websites, contrasting how many people are using Facebook Connect with similar sign-in techs from Google, Twitter, Yahoo and MySpace. Facebook is the clear leader – of sites that allow social sign-ins, it accounts for 46% of them, followed by Google (17%), Twitter (14%), Yahoo (13%) and MySpace (7%). For entertainment sites specifically, including music, Facebook takes a 52% share, followed by Twitter (15%) and MySpace (14%). In separate news, Facebook is now serving three billion ‘Like’ buttons a day on other websites, with 350,000 sites using its social plug-ins.
