YouTube has teamed up with Hollywood hotshots Ridley Scott and Kevin Macdonald for a new project called Life in a Day. They’re asking people to “capture a glimpse of your life on camera” on 24 July and upload it to the site, where the best footage will be edited into a full-length documentary film. The movie will be premiered at the Sundance Film Festival next January, and will be available to watch on YouTube – with everyone whose clips are included credited as a co-director.
