Apple has announced that nine more countries will get its iPad tablet this Friday (20 July). They are: Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore. The launches should spur even more sales of the device, which went from two million sales in late May to three million in late June – a rate of a million units a month. Apple may provide an update on these figures today in its quarterly results call.
