There’s a new badge to earn in Foursquare, albeit only in the US. The VH1 Fanatic Badge is the work of TV network VH1, and is aimed at gig-goers checking-in at venues around the US. They’ll be able to unlock the badge to enter a contest called VH1’s Unlock It To Rock It Sweepstakes, with a top prize of a year’s unlimited concerts at their nearest venue. Meanwhile, Foursquare users who ‘follow’ the VH1 account will also get music tips from artists including Kelly Rowland, Civil Twilight, Shontelle and Chilli out of TLC.
