Ultravox frontman Midge Ure has launched Tunited, a a new ad-supported streaming music service with a focus on unsigned bands, armed with the slogan ‘Make Love Share Music’. Currently in beta, it’s pitching itself as artist-friendly, due to Tunited not taking a cut from track downloads. Meanwhile, the streaming side involves a credit system, with users earning credits by inviting friends, buying merchandise, and promoting or downloading songs.
