The Pixies have sold out two 3,000-capacity gigs in London recently exclusively through an email to their fanlist. E-tickets were sold with barcodes to print at home, which were then scanned by iPhone-toting staff at the Troxy Theatre over the two nights. Pixies worked with Topspin on the scheme, having built a 100,000-strong mailing list since signing up with the digital music marketing company.
