During the second quarter of this year, AOL reported a net loss of more than $1 billion and a 26% drop in revenue. AOL’s accounts reflected the implications of the $1.4 billion charge related to AOL’s sale of Bebo, as well as a 27% decline in advertising revenue. The loss of $1.1 billion is down from a profit of $90.7 million versus 2009.
