BitTorrent client Vuze says it now has five million active users for its desktop app, which lets people drag and drop video files onto devices including iPhone, iPad, Xbox, PS3 and PSP when connected to their PCs. Now it’s added more devices: a range of Android handsets, and Apple’s iPhone 4. The company says it’s also sharpened up its core downloading technology, making downloads faster, and allowing users to more easily download multi-file torrents – “those huge torrents that contain multiple files, or multiple songs within an album”.
