Indie licensing body Merlin has managed to strike a deal with another streaming service: Grooveshark. The two companies have settled their copyright infringement dispute, making it the third significant licensing deal for Grooveshark following EMI and INgrooves, although it also has direct deals with independent labels and artists. Grooveshark finally released its iPhone app last week following a lengthy approval process from Apple, but has yet to ink deals with UMG, Sony or WMG.
