Keeping tabs on the top YouTube videos just got a bit easier, as the site launched a new Charts section. It lets you sort the most viewed, most subscribed and most liked videos from today, this week, this month and all-time. What’s lacking for now is any ability to break this out by genre – for example a chart focused purely on music videos. In fact, it’s a bit strange: according to the new chart, the most viewed video of all time is Charlie Bit My Finger with 221 million views. Yet both Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga have videos with more views than that, so it seems music videos are being left out of the new chart.
