French body Hadopi has launched a new public information campaign about the recently introduced anti-piracy measures there. 260,000 leaflets were distributed to motorists last weekend, with another batch to come this weekend. The campaign explains how the new three-strikes regime works, with warning letters followed by internet disconnections. The leaflets also warn users to secure their Wi-Fi connections. According to Billboard, the first warning letters will be sent out imminently, now that the necessary legislation is passed, and Hadopi has been set up.
