Vevo revealed that its iPhone app has been downloaded more than one million times in just 8 days, since its release on 18 August. The app has received strong promotion on Apple’s App Store, being made iTunes App of the Week. And of course the fact that it’s free helps, although for now it’s being funded by a single sponsorship deal with AT&T, rather than in-app ads.
