The latest artist to launch a free stream of their new album pre-release is Royksopp. They’ve partnered with Hype Machine and SoundCloud, with the stream making its debut on the former’s site. It uses a SoundCloud player, which allows people to share details of the stream with friends on Twitter and Facebook. However, the big benefit from Royksopp’s perspective is that Hype Machine is encouraging its network of music bloggers to also embed the stream on their own sites.
