UK operator O2 has been operating its Priority Tickets service for a while now. It lets O2 customers buy tickets for gigs and events up to 48 hours before they go on general release. Anyway, there’s now an iPhone app for that, which O2 says makes the process faster and easier. Users can set up alerts to ensure they don’t miss out on presales for specific artists, venues and cities. O2 says it will soon launch the app for Android and webOS (Palm) smartphones too.
