Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber are set to become the first artists to pass one billion views on YouTube, according to analytics firm TubeMogul. The company estimates that Gaga will pass the milestone around 20 October, while Bieber is set to reach it around 1 November. They’re well ahead of the third most popular artist on Google’s video site, Michael Jackson, who has around 600 million total views. It’s Bieber who has the momentum though: since July, he’s been averaging 3.98 million daily views, compared to Gaga’s 2.04 million.
