Google has announced its financials for the third quarter of 2010, revealing revenues of $7.29 billion – up 23% year-on-year – and net income of $2.17 billion. Google’s own sites accounted for 67% of its revenues, with 30% coming from third-party sites through its AdSense ads. Google gave some other stats though: it is currently running ads against two billion YouTube video views every week – up 50% compared to a year ago. Meanwhile, Google’s mobile ad sales are now generating $1 billion of revenues a year. There was no specific mention of the company’s music plans in the ensuing analyst call.
