11% of US consumers say they are ‘likely’ to buy an iPad by February next year. Which, with a population of around 310 million, means 34 million people. Quite a claim, given that Apple sold 4.19 million of the devices in the whole of the third quarter. Those who’ve had an iPad for two months or less use it for around 15 hours a week, but that bumps up to 18 hours for people who’ve had an iPad for longer.
