Country star Kenny Chesney has launched a new app focused on a six-date ‘Carnival Tour Concert’, working with HD streaming firm Quello and app platform Mobile Roadie. Fans can watch the concert ‘chapter by chapter, song by song’ while posting and tweeting their reactions, and watching behind-the-scenes footage. It’s an example of Mobile Roadie not just being used for a generic artist app, but for a video-focused themed app around live events. The app costs $2.99 on the App Store, so it’s a paid product too.
