As MXP4 pivots from an online remix tool to a social games company, it’s hiring from some of the bigger ‘fish in the market. Playfish, to be specific. MXP4 has recruited its product marketing director Xavier Louis to be its new VP of product marketing. He’ll be in charge of marketing MXP4’s social music gaming technology across Facebook and other social networks. The company has already had some success with its new direction, attracting more than 500,000 users to a Facebook music game for David Guetta. “We are elated to have an industry expert like Xavier join MXP4,” says MXP4 CEO Albin Serviant. “With his extensive social gaming experience, he is an obvious choice to spearhead the continued development of our interactive music games.”
