News that Apple’s App Store is zooming towards the 10 billion downloads milestone has provoked comparisons with the much longer time it took the iTunes Store to reach the same mark. However, research firm Asycmo has been crunching more numbers, and claims that when it comes to royalty payouts, music is still well ahead.
