The mobile award went to iPad music discovery app Discovr, created by Jammboxx. The flowchart-style app has been getting strong promotion from Apple since its launch earlier this month (Bulletin, 14-Jan-11). The consumer award went to, the social music service that launched last year (Bulletin, 12-Jul-10) and helped fans discover new music on blogs. Finally, Next Big Sound won the B2B category for its much buzzed-about social analytics service. The company was first featured by Music Ally back in 2009 when it took funding (Bulletin, 1-Oct-09).
