Semetric has launched V3 of its Musicmetric service, armed with new data-crunching features for its artist and label customers. They include real-time analysis of filesharing activity down to regional level; social network fan distribution; sentiment analysis of online mentions of an artist or release; and ‘influencer analysis’ across the web. Users can also now import European radio airplay and sales data into the application, to be compared with the digital and online data. Semetric offers two tiers of the Musicmetric service – Essential and Professional – costing £4.99 and £9.99 a month respectively. “We are very excited to come those big steps closer to our aim of offering a 360 degree view for music data,” says CEO Gregory Mead.
