Apple’s iPod focus is more on its touch and nano models nowadays, rather than the classic hard=drive based model. However, Toshiba has just announced a new 1.8-inch drive with a 220GB capacity, that could make its way into any refresh of the iPod classic. The drive uses less power, and has a bigger memory buffer to combat skipping. One point: with a 220GB iPod that goes everywhere with you. the spurs for using a cloud locker service are less appealing…
