The latest sign of the big audiences being reached by mobile games is a bunch of stats from US developer Backflip Studios. Its games on iPhone and Android have now been downloaded more than 77 million times – 55 million on iPhone and 12 million on Android. In December, Backflip’s games were played by 23 million people, with 2.25 million daily active players. Many of its games are ad-supported, Backflip generated 830 million ad impressions in December alone.Read more:
