The US National Music Publishers’ Association has announced that Danielle Malito Aguirre has joined as its new VP and senior counsel. She will be in charge of all litigation for the body, including Copyright Royalty Board proceedings. She joins from Washington law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison. “We are pleased to welcome Danielle to our team,” says NMPA boss David Israelite. “She brings extensive and diverse experience in every aspect of litigation and legal strategy. I am confident she will be a great addition and serve the music publishing industry well.”
