US mobile operator Verizon Wireless has launched a new version of its V Cast Music app for Android smartphones. The app now includes full-track songs, ringtones and ringback tones in one place, with the first of those allowing customers to buy MP3 tracks for $0.69, $0.99 or $1.29 a pop. The app will also offer bundles, where a song can be bought as a full-track, ringtone and ringback tone for a single discounted price. There are also new social features to recommend songs to friends. Verizon is preloading the app on new Android handsets that it sells.
