Analyst firm Ovum has published bullish projections for global digital music revenues, claiming they will top $20 billion by 2015, up from the IFPI’s official figure of $4.6 billion in 2010. Ovum says music subscriptions will be the key driver of growth in the next five years, but its analyst Mark Little has criticised services like Pandora and Spotify for not making the most of their opportunities.
