Only 6% of US 12-17 year-olds are interested in interacting with brands on Facebook, according to a survey released by Forrester. We bet it’s higher for bands in this case. However, digging down into the figures, there’s a more nuanced picture about how teenagers expect things to work on Facebook. “While only 16% of young consumers expect companies to use social tools to interact with them, 28% expect companies to listen to what they’re saying on social networks and respond if they have questions,” says Forrester’s report. Nearly 50% of 12-17 year-olds said they feel they can trust companies’ websites, but only 26% trust their social networking profiles.
