Mobile apps aren’t just about the stores for iPhone, Android, Nokia, BlackBerry and Windows Phone 7, y’know. Samsung has its own Samsung Apps store, which covers its own-OS bada smartphones, as well as connected TVs. Yesterday, Samsung announced that its store has now generated 100 million downloads in the ten months since it first launched. That’s been boosted by the fact that the company shipped around five million bada devices last year, and an unknown number of app-capable TVs. The store now has 13,000 apps in it, and 40% of its downloads come from France, Germany and Spain.
