Mobile entertainment industry body MEF is calling for entries for this year’s Meffys awards, which include a category for Best Music Service. For that, they’re looking for new music services that make best use of the ‘unique attributes’ of the mobile platform, although they don’t need to be mobile-only services. MEF is hoping for entries from developers, service providers, operators, handset makers and aggregators, with the deadline for entries being 26 April. Last year’s music winner was Shazam for its Shazam Encore app.
