You can store music in cloud storage service Dropbox, but since it’s not really focused on music, the experience of accessing and playing back that music isn’t great. However, there’s another app for that. BoxyTunes requires users to have a Dropbox account, but then lets them play the music stored in it, creating their own playlists and running in the background while other iPhone apps are used. It’s just released a free iPhone app, but there’s a paid version available too, with rewind, cover art and AirPlay features. Judging by the screenshots, BoxyTunes still looks like a list of files rather than a slick music app, though. It’s the work of developer Blue Penguin. Source: AppShopper
