Music marketing platform FanBridge says it’s now ‘actively connecting‘ 100 million music fans with artists, through email, Facebook and Twitter. The company’s platform is used for the likes of Lil Jon, Lady Gaga, Imogen Heap and John Legend, with Gaga’s 32 million Facebook fans a big chunk of FanBridge’s milestone stat. The company certainly has momentum though: this year it has secured a $2 million funding round, acquired fellow digital marketing firm Damn The Radio, and hired execs including a director of music industry relations and a head of design. It’s also working with the likes of Songkick, Appbistro and SoundCloud to pull data and content into its platform. “We see new opportunities every day from a multitude of avenues and will continue to offer only the best products to strengthen our clients’ toolbox,” says FanBridge’s Gray Blue.
